The Rediscovery And International Recognition
In 1922, Mikao Usui rediscovered Reiki on Mount Kurama and founded the first school in Tokyo. Over time, the practice gained international recognition and is now recommended by the WHO as an important complementary therapy for balance and well-being.
Arrival In Brazil And Initial Expansion
Reiki arrived in Brazil in the 1980s and 1990s through pioneer masters. The first associations and specialized centers quickly emerged, consolidating the practice as a path of healing and integrating it into the national therapeutic scene.
